Just watched the game on sky+, and felt very strongly about the pre game comments made about your team. "lambs to the slaughter", "what would have been one one of the games of the season tarnished" etc... what gives him the right to totally write you off and completely disrespect your young players when eddie and stevo ahve never seen any of them play. Im glad your boys stood up and played with admirable spirit and determination, was great to see. Also funny how within the first 5 minutes Eddie was eating his words and from then went on how impressive you were and blah blah blah.. he is an a**ehole

'Its like the jungle out there, only the strong survive and the weak get killed off and that's whats happened in Hull. They'll run to the end of the season then that's it, they'll be gone, there will be no more Hull Kingston Rovers there's no room for them.'

Tim Wilby, 1997. Screw you Tim.

Why is he a disgrace? He was man enough to admit he was wrong. Most people would look at the teams and suggest a hammering. And whilst the young Giants did well, the game had more to with Saints' problems than it did with anything else. A team like Bradford, Wakefield or Catalans tonight would have put 30 on the Giants.

Stevo wasn't to impressed with the lineup either.
Nice to see them both eating their words for a change!

At half time Eddie read out what he'd written on his piece of paper and then screwed it up and tossed it to one side in front of the camera.

In fact you could say he was a tO$$er

Clown, just like Eddie and Stevo at the start but worse because this idiocy is post game. Our young uns had a blinder, would have given any team a game tonight!

Prior to the start of the game I missed the first part of the debate and all I heard was Stevo saying 'the system' was to blame. I didn't really undertsand what he meant by that - can anyone clarify which system he was on about.

He possibly wasn't happy that Huddersfield had put more importance on the CC Final than a round of the SL.

I tink that's where the problem is. Stevo is paid by SKY yet we rested most of the team for next week on BBC.

Thing is though SKY chose to show that game live after we got through to the final so surely they would have known a week before the cup final we would senda weakened team.
Saints should be thankful we did because our 1st team would have crucified that shower of has-beens !

I would agree that the system is wrong.

Both finalists should have a free weekend before the big match. This not only benefits them, but the SL table itself. I know Saints' attitude would probably have been different, but our strong 1st team could well have beaten Saints last night.

Matches before the final over the years have shown the importance coaches put the ability to field their strongest side the week after.

No he was moaning saying that the RFL have let the game down by moving the CC final so close to the end of the season. He said he doesn't blame Hudds for fielding a weakened side as this is a massive match for your club.
