If Saints player hadnt lifted then it wouldnt have happened, thats all there is to it.

Agreed - that tackle showed why Refs whistle as soon as the legs are lifted and the tackled player is in a dangerous position. I saw it as vindication for the clampdown on this sort of tackle that we we don't see often anymore. To then rule in this way is very confusing.
