am driving down to wembley on the day, can anyone recomend somewhere close ish to park for the day?

I was considering parking on the outskirts of london and catching the tube but with 7 people in the car its probably more cost effective to park within walking distance.

Re parking there is no onsite parking, however best thing to do is to use the very cheap park and rides at tube stations.

Last year i stopped off at Hillingdon park and ride, which is just off the motorway.

tubes trains are every 6 mins and take 20 mins to get to Wembley.

It also give the option of stopping off at places like Ickenham and drinking and eating there rather than at Wembley itself which gets overcrowded and over priced.

car park info for tubes here

http://www.tfl.gov.uk/roadusers/tubesta ... fault.aspx

please note if you book via wembley stadium they charge extra to park eg £5 instead of £1 so best go via TFL website
