Will be making the trip down on Sunday, any advice on parking. And pubs to watch the ashes in. |

Not on the roads just ask a few Wakefield fans why! I wouldn't even think about advising you for the free parking spots by the leisure centre due to the latest big film on at the cinema in fact parking at the north end will be nightmarish! There is a municipal car park which one of our posters often puts up the map for which is a quid on sundays. As for the ashes The ropewalk should be screening it as to the Gas Club which if you do choose to park at the municipal car park is instead of going right to the stadium go left and it's that building by the gasometer! |

Try the Syngenta Recreation Club just further down Leeds Road next to Macdonalds and KFC, usually free safe parking, good cheap beer, Sky TV and just a 10 minute walk to the ground. If you get there early they do a cheap Sunday roast as well. Have a safe journey. |

Just for the record the straight red line before the carpark was where all the cars were scratched during the Hudds Wakefield game. I would (and sometimes do) pay the pound and park in the carpark. |

I would suggest using the official Giants car park at £5 and as stated by Ponner their is the car park on St Andrews road for £1 from 12-6pm. The unfortunate and despicable car damage to cars parked along St Andrews (On street parking) was a one off and all the years I have parked there it has never happened. |
