Not really your 1st game as such but why did you go down that 1st time Mine was 1977, my dad had just died and my best friends dad used to come and get me and take me down with his son, probably to give me mum a couple of hours off Thats why i 1st got down, i was 9 at the time Was it down to family? or for the newer fans, was it a free ticket or something similar? |

Dunno I was only about 6 days old when I went to my first game. All I can remember is that the ref was terrible. |

mine was 1977 as well. My uncle used to take me to Bradford Northern games as my dad used to play Gaelic Football and Hurling on Sundays during the summer. Bradford were away that weekend so i asked my uncle to take me to Fartown . I never went back to Bradford again following a damascene conversion. |

I think it was a big challenge cup game so my dad took me down. I was only a toddler and the crowd looked huge but looking back it was maybe around 4000ish |
