What additions / subtractions woul you make for 2010?

We have a world class SR in Fa'alogo joining the club. I assume Moore, Fulton and Mossop will exit + others.

Would proiritise a kicking half back / explosive & fast running back rower / very quick and capable outside back.

With the likes of kirmond, leroy, bruno and Lunt with a season under their belt + another pre season with bumper we would have a team able to challenge the best.

I dont think we need another back rower

A halfback/hooker is needed from somewhere to help us kick on, but they have to be proven at the very top I think.

A new winger is very much a must too.

Other than that I think to challenge at the top we need the stability of team we seem to be getting now.

It all depends on who is leaving i have heard so many rumours about Griffin i have no idea whether he is staying or going.

If he is going we need a top class, hole busting prop.
That would mean we wouldhave 3 excellent props Eorl, Mason plus Griffin( new prop). We would then need two more props. I lke Jacko but he is getting on and is off contract at the end of the season and may get a one year contract.

that leaves us with Korki or Sculthorpe. I have seen nothing that makes me feel that either of them will / should be here next season.

Ergo we need one definately or possibly two props.

Hooker we may need one depending on Moore going and whether anyone along with Lunt can step up. Robbo at interchange ala Roby :?:

We definitely need a half back who can kick and run the plays and give us the attack we need to break down the good defences.

these are the priorities to me more than anyone else.

If there is money left over a new back may be the order of the day but we seem to have a number of younger players who should be given the chance. Mc Gilvary, Lopag etc. Cudjoe has been good in that role so maybe he can take over one of the spots until he becomes No 1 full back.

I am not sure about a second row as it all depends on the other changes raleigh to prop etc but with Kirmond, wild, jammer, finnigan Falogo do we need another one to sit in the reserves or bring someone through.

he has very good footwork and can dash through a gap to set up good attacks.

I was assuming that Faiumu would not be coming back after he sorts out his legal difficulties in OZ.

Halfback partnership needs sorting, nowhere near the quality of a trophy winning team, no pace in the threequarters, need quality wingers, Hodgson, and Aspenall, are now average SL players. l expect Brown to stamp his mark on the Giants in the close season, and there will be a few changes in the rosta.
would not be surprised to se some of the following departing
Aspenall, Griffin, Jackson, Moore, Mossop, Brown, Robinson, Walsh, Fiamu,
Patrick, Lunt, Fulton.
We have Fa´alogo (whatever) and i think at least one more from down under coming in, Brown is going to make this team his, so changes will be made, just hope he keeps the team spirit alive :?: :?:
