| Post subject: | A father's day present for a rugby league dad? |
This Friday (June 12th), I will be in WH Smith from 11.30 onwards with copies of my latest novel 'One Autumn' to sign. It is set during the 1992/93 season and has a background of 'Work, Family Life and Rugby League'. The latest news from the British film world about my first novel 'One Winter' is that there is no news. The Pinewood Studios asked me to send them a copy in November 2007 and as it can take anything up to two (or more) years to make a decision, then I'll just have to be patient. Meanwhile in Australia there is a rugby league film called 'The Final Winter' doing the rounds and getting many good reviews, I hear. 'The Final Winter' followed by 'One Winter' would be nice: a case of anything the Aussies can do, so can we! |
