What is it with this guy? Low on confidence or just lack of pace? I thought he should have scored three tries if he'd backed himself. He is fortunate in that he gets a lot more of the ball than Aspy due to players preference to pass to the left which comes more naturally. |

Why he didn't back himself yesterday with that massive chance I don't know. Even if he got caught alls he had to do was get a quick PTB but instead he dithered and had a brainfart. Strange. |

Probably had little energy left after spending most of his game driving the ball up the middle into the Cas forwards at the start of nearly every set of six. |

I have thought for a while our wingers lack pace and this showed it exactly, a speedster would have been plonking that down every day of the week, Hodgson was being tracked back by 4, 5 Cas players, all closing him down. |

The pic in the examiner today shows players celebrating and D Hodgson has his calf strapped up, so im thinking he's not at full pace due to a slight niggling injury? |

You aren't really giving the Cas players any credit there, the Cas back line is very fast (particularly Shenton, Owen & Chase) and these 3 could probably chase down most if not any player in the league. |

True. Owen might have played FB but remember he's a winger. I also think his knee injury last year took some of his pace away. Stiil, I think he should have taken the tackle and tried to hand Owen off at least. Robinson was probably screaming at him to pass aswell and it ended up just one of those 'wrong option' moments. |
