I'll start this on the Huddersfield board as i don't think it would go down to well on the wakey board, (which may answer the question in it self!), but how does the idea of Wakefield & Doncaster merging appear to a fan thats emotionally unattached to either club? Because heritage/ rivalry aside IMO in a business sence it would seem to answer the problems the two clubs face? Doncasters struggling a bit with the funds and Wakefield could get the ground that they need and two sets of supporters would only add to attendances.

i do believe the SL eventually will be made up of regional teams with the likes of W.yorkshire , Lancs, Humberside, Merseyside , Cumbria & the North east , South wales, team from Scotland and of course London
