that is a sad story. Rug(by) pulled from under his feet. All the more reason for clubs to ensure that their players have another skill in life, especially those coming thru' a clubs own acadamy and higher grades for a number of years. Something to carry them through the transtion of not playing...

Wasn't he a milkman that started playing the game comparatively late? Or has my mind made that up?
