Scouts. it's been the same day as home matches for some years now, so I done the first part of the parade then bunked off to the match just as the kids go into Church. Upset quite a lot of people by doing this, but who cares.

Unfortunately I couldn't get out of it this year.

as st georges day is on a friday next year, quite a few of our ex-pat crowd of friends/workers are organising a day out.. full english breakfast followed by a pub crawl around the pubs in adelaide's cbd that have an english pub name .. if the irish can celebrate their day in style, so can the english :lol:
