How many times did the giants try and only put five in the scrum?

I counted four - is this a deliberate tactic?

Nathan Brown obviously likes to slow the game down and he knows what the referee can and cannot penalise, not having enough in the scrum or not packing down correctly will only cause the referee to hold the game up until its done properly. Thus giving his players more time to get set and throws the opposition.

I know Justin and other coaches have complained about these tactics but while he can get away with it Nathan is being rather astute.

Nothing to do with players being alternated and not knowing that they were supposed to be in the scrum and not the centres.

There are a minority that are still very bitter about being beaten fairly and indeed squarely.

i'm just waiting for the day someone complains that one of our defenders tackled the opposition as he was going for the tryline, and that surely that should be stamped out because its not fair on the opposition who want to score lots of tries and rack up a big score and the Giants are spoiling the game by not allowing teams to do this

Well slap my legs and call me Roger! How very dare they tackle us!! Silverwood was 'Barry White' but Whinos would have stuffed us whoever was reffing, so well done to them.

There were numerous 'forward tackles' going on - or so my carer said............

'Nurse!!'

Smart coaching I'd say..........however it will eventually get picked up once the pundits start on with it and the term "gamesmanship" will come into play.
