Just got back from the game about an hour ago. Unlucky, seriously you have been playing well all season, let it go tonight though we were too good for you. But seriously where is your support for the team, you were at home right? Your mascot was banging the drum and our fans were louder than yours.

I thought this thread was about crowd numbers. You were expectng a big crowd weren't you but it was 4,000 down on last years fixture.

Who ever said we were expecting a big crowd? Anyway that inst the point, no matter how many fans we have, the fans that are there are there to support the team and encourage them, not just sit there moaning

They pay their money, they makes their choice. Fans don't have to encourage if they don't want.

And Sky and Huddersfield were expecting a big crowd, rather naively. 11,000 isn't a bad effort though, especially as Leeds didn't travel in their usual numbers.

Funny that never heard the Leeds contingent all game!! And yet I was at that end near by!! We were quiet granted but it was a surreal game in all honesty!

Also on crowd numbers not as many as previous seasons when you required an over flow into the Kilner bank! Not even 2K in the south stand!! And not that many in other stands!

Thought it was heading for a sell out? Obviously talked it up a bit much.
Poor crowd considering the teams involved. I imagine that the result will knock a few thousand home fans off the next gate.
