I've just read both the Examiner's & Yorkshire Post's reports of our HKR match. They are identical. Does this happen often? |

I wouldn't have thought so but I rarely read the YP as we seem to get, at best, poor coverage in it. |

As it was Easter it may have been that Chris was on holiday Now that the Examiner is part of a larger publishing group, it could well be that they used the facilities of the "press Agency" - like Reuter - but for sports news-- who provide a service for newspapers in general if they wish eg - one reporter goes to Aus for the ashes and reports back to Examiner/ say Southampton Echo etc--and several more -(shared costs) Also say cover Wimbledon over here - and send report to papers in Aus/ France / and rest of Europe - a sort of "cooperatve" or maybe Chris did it - and there was some counter arrangement with the Yorks Post on these lines cos of hols Cant confirm THATS what happened -- but something similar to above stands a chance |
