I suspect personally that he isnt actually going to be joining us now, dragged on too long, he is too old, wants too much money and doesnt want to leave the Warriors, all in all, not worth it

I think he would be an excellent signing -
his displays in the recent world cup showed his class and ability

Bottom line though is that Richard Thewlis (it is reported) says there was no deal on the table despite reports in the Aussie press and quotes from his agent
Does that indicate that Nathan / Richard/ Ken dont see him as a useful addition to the squad - or bearing in mind recent reports -are his agents terms way above what we value him at at this stage of his career.

I think his agent is laying down his starting point - and its now down to any interested parties -( whether its us or not ) to present theirs

if and when a compromise is reached ( whoever that is with) will need a lot of hard bargaining it seems before its "acceptable" and both parties are happy.

As I said in the previous post - its how highly we rate him -(if at all we`re led to believe ) and how highly he rates himself at this stage of his career
but personally Id be delighted if a deal was struck.

Dont worry nothing on here yet to sugest PBGIANT will need to get his red card out.

In respect of Fien i think we need to wait till the endof the season to see who we need.

Brown wants his playmakers/ star players at 1, 6, 7, 9. If he is happy with what we have got maybe we will strengthen in other areas Andy lynch anyone :?:

i am happy for us to go with what we have got. Scott more may stay. IF saints keep fatso he might not want to go back and be second fiddle. he may not want to be the grunt who does the work so roby can come on for the glory.
Fulton may stake a claim as the ball playing creative second row. Who Knows.
There is a long way to go in the season. Personnel are playing for places and i am sure Brown will take stock of what he has got, what he wants and who is available in the summer.
