Best journey down to London in a very log while on saturday! M1 clear all the way and I was dreading hitting the M25 but to my surprise it was clear. Never stayed in london for Quins match but considering going down again. |

Yes, the M! was clear, but we found the M25 to be stop-start. |

Stayed at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Ealing. Very good brekkie, good rooms, not too expensive. Sited next to Tube Station (Hanger Lane) so easy to access central London - about 20 min drive to Stoop along North Circular - no good for public transport links between venues though as no direct rail or tube link I think? I will defo book here again - could see Wembley from room window so perfect for CC Final too!!! |

Meast - have you spoke to Smiler about Quins - he usually organises a trip. |

VP's set off from Town at 8.00am. Got to The Stoop just before 1.00pm just in time for our Buffet Lunch in our Exec boxes. One comment about bar prices at The Stoop. My G&T was £3.50 where it is £4.30 at the Pharm. Those who drank the ale also said it was reasonable value for The Stoop and good quality. We stayed at The Kingston Lodge Hotel in Kingston upon Thames which is a sister hotel to The George Hotel in Town. It was as usual very good. The main problem when we play Quins in July is that weekend it is the Hampton Court Flower Show and all hotel within a 30 mile radius are fully booked with tours etc. We are having to stay quite a distance away from The Stoop to make sure that we get the best standard of hotel at The Best price. That hotel is also full now I have booked my 33 rooms. |

The beer was £3.50 a pop but was a decent pint for stadium beer. |
