Would some please explain why several of your players thought it was acceptable to climb over the railings and almost into the fans at the end of Friday's match?
I mean, especially when you where sat with all the wigan fans? Is this a new thing your players do this season? I think it was stupid bahaviour that should be stopped. it's asking for trouble!
Also...does ste wild always kick the ball away from half way line whilst you are converting your tries? He never did that a Wigan!

Our players have always got close and personal to our fans! In not unknown for Eorl in particular to spend at least 10-15 mins with the fans after showing his appreciation and signing autographs! Even when we've lost they still do it!!
It's funny as the other week it was noted by a Wigan fan how our players really got with the fans to celebrate and show appreciation and wondered why Wigan players never did it!!

It's no big deal, but I've never seen that kind of appreciation whilst watching Wigan.

It's called showing your appreciation to the fans
If anything it should be applauded, I have seen some teams players who don’t seem to give a F about the fans, at least the Hudds players show there appreciation.

Its good for fan/player relations - cant see whats wrong with it.
And why is it asking for trouble? Are you saying your fans would set upon players of an opposition team just because you lost? Cant see why it would cause trouble, our fans like it, moments like that between a fan and their favourite player will stay with people for a long time - it is also good for marketing the team/game.
It seems everything between arriving to leaving on Friday night in Wigan was wrong according to the home contingent. There is obviously a lot of denial going on over there at the moment..the first step to getting over this is admitting you have a problem Your problem is your team lost and we won!

How is it asking for trouble??
if anyone thinks that is asking for trouble then there is no place in a RL stadium for them
has it not occured to you that they may have had family members or friends in that section of the crowd?
Is it like this everytime the once mighty Wigan lose a game?
my god, get over it you sad nit-pickers
wishy - thank you for your reply. My only concern was when mixed with away fans, and actually climbing over the railings may have been a little too much especially after that particular frustrating game. It's certainly good they appreciate your supporters, especially those who travel away friday nights.
Durham Giant - ur comment was completey inappropriate. I didn't mention Hock, and I believe my question desrved a sensible answer as it's not unreasonable to ask, as i've not noticed hudd or any other teams do this before. I acknowledge you won, i'm not moaning about the ref or bad descisions I was asking a question that has nothing to do with winning. And i'm not being funny but im used to loosing by now, wigan are a below average team and did not deserve to win friday. It is a shame people like you will give hudd fans a bad name, and cause childish rivally between teams when it is unneccesary. I mean we all love rugby league.

maybe if your club opened up the other stand for us it wouldnt of been mixed crowd... well i say mixed...the wigan fans did the famous walk way before the end !!
some valid points, but also some inapproproaite abuse to myself. I certainly wont be posting on a this board again.
It was only my opinion and just wanted to hear a different opinion and after reading your replys I completly agree the appreciation is a good things, and having personal thanks and meeting players is a good thing for the game to.
I realise what you are saying about the trouble comment I made, I may have used the wrong words, but if it was perfectly fine, there would have been no need for the stewards to interveen. And every team, weather they admit it or not have supporters who beahve inappropriatly and let the real supporters down.
