I would hardly cast aspersions on anyones motives. ATEOTD you can only really judge things on the basis of what you would do.

If it was me i might give them away or altenatively flog them and give the money to adam watene or some charity.

the seller may have no one to give them to, they may not be aware of using the forums as a way of getting info about the tickets out, maybe they are having financial problems and are just trying to scrape a little bit of cash together.

what about people who sell their old shirts on ebay rather than giving them away to make money. Is there a difference :?:

It's touting and as he got them free shouldn't be doing this, especially in this manner!! I generally disagree with all sorts of selling on tickets even though I do turn a blind eye to a certain someone here! Yes he hasn't got his info correct as we don't have tickets at £17 so it will most probably say on the tickets £0.00/Comp which makes it even worse! As I say someone here does it every game so do you disagree with that individual as it is the same! Ateotd the club is missing out on revenue regardless!!

By the way thats why you're ticket was given away when you gave it me, to that certain person as they'll know who they are!

He is selling something he got for free so you can't compare it to selling your old shirts. If he has no one to give them to he can stand by the turnstiles for two mins and give them to someone going to a cash gate in a worst case.

These tickets are to attract fans down, not to sell for profit.

what if someone like me who is an avid fan but cant afford to pay full price due to being unemployed buys them to save me some money is that wrong?

i do apologise i was just trying to maybe get 4 more people to come and support us :roll:

I'm not on about the buyer here, I'm on about the seller. Wouldn't you prefer them for free rather than pay some guy money for them?

not bothered, if i hadnt got a ticket for this week i would have bought them .
i cant afford to pay full price anymore so if i want to come to the games i will have to obtain a freebie or pay as little as i can .

to be fair they're not exactly fetching the seller a bucketful are they just a few pence really
