GIANTS JERMAINE SEEKS SUPPORT

Huddersfield Giants have teamed up with near neighbours Batley Bulldogs to offer cut price admission for Sundays game at Mount Pleasant with the Bulldogs facing Featherstone Rovers (3.00pm).

All Giants season ticket holders can gain entry for just £5 adult/concession and £2 children by displaying their Season Ticket at the 'Pass gate' at Mount Pleasant.

Giants up and coming winger Jermaine McGilvery is currently enjoying a loan spell at the Bulldogs and is looking forward to the prospect of recieving support from the claret and gold fans on the terraces.

"It would be great to have the Giants fans supporting me and the lads on sunday at Batley. I am enjoying the challenge of the National Leagues and the standard is very good which is helping my development. The Giants play on Saturday so I'd hope that plenty of our fans fancy a game on the sunday which is traditionally when Huddersfield play."

He scored. Probably one of the most promising in an average Batley side that fails to look as if they could cause a threat to any team at the moment. The kid has to pace to burn when he breaks free. 1000 times better than Balu Fagbourn.

Plus real power to break tackles.

Some rather peeved Batley fans at work this morning. Thornton's head was wanted on a platter...
