Just wondering what the feeling is among Huddersfield fans now that the season has started, especially re Ken Davy's season ticket offer. Has it made the kind of difference you would hope for? I'm just interested because, if you'll forgive me for saying so, Huddersfield has always seemed like a bit of a missed opportunity for Super League, in my view. I mean by that that you've had relatively small crowds, inconsistency and, at times, played a fairly dull sort of rugby. Against that, Huddersfield is a club with a fantastic tradition, a magnificent stadium and the potential to attract big crowds. You seem to have a good new coach as well. Do you think Huddersfield have turned the corner now? I ask simply because I want to see all clubs doing well.

The corner is not yet turned IMO.

In many ways Huddersfield is a unique situation. We were in the doldrums for so long and then went through such a farce with finishing bottom repeatedly and then the merger. The damage it did was significant and when you add all the bits together I don't think any other club has gone through what ours has.

We're close to turning but we're not there yet. We need to get some consistently good performances out and we need to start winning at home in front of the big crowds.

We have now put the Junior Development in place and we should start to see the fruits of our labours in about 2-3yrs time once the juniors start coming thru into the first team.
