hope the john sharp fans are realising now that he was in the job for 18months too long!
the giants are alot more entertaining to watch and the changes are as clear as day.
winning at bradford and with ganson as ref - theres no doubt times are changing!
You do realise that within that 18 months you're talking about that we made our debut in the play offs, don't you.
ATEOTD when we lose a few the same old faces will be saying the same old whinges. It's far easier to complain than give any praise and it will always be the same with those people.
Spidey senses well and truly tingled.

yes i do realise we made the play offs but i that was down to the players more than john sharp...we were lucky with not many injuries that year and most coaches would of got us into the play offs.
not the biggest fan of sharp..had some good times but the team went stale, players were playing out of position and he never seemed to get them motivated enough.
now i can see a massive differance in the way we are playing to previous under sharp, quicker passing, moves etc.
All this conjecture about winning despite him etc blah. It's all garbage, it's just retrospective conjecture and utterly meaningless. The FACT is that under Sharp we made a CC Final and the play offs and he must get credit for that as much as he cops flack for the losses. All the "I told you so" rubbish doesn't alter those facts. Under his stats he took us to a CC Final and play off despite the whining, know better know nothing whingers who care more about whether a coach smiles and waves than whether he gets results.
End of story.

After 3 games? After 3 games under Sharp the team were unbeaten and top of the league. I do not understand why some people try to make out that success was 'in spite' of Sharp. That's just ridiculous and pathetic really isn't it.

If it hasn't worked by now, it never will! I'm all for reaching out to a wider audience with our game but not at the expense of historical clubs in the homelands.
