how do you work that out when my point was about fans not getting behind the team when we were losing ??
Huddersfield fans dont come much more passionate than me so i know exactly what our support is like.
i think yesterday just made me realise how bad our fans really are when it comes to supporting the team

It wasn't aimed at you! Check the first post I made and you'll see it was in response to this:
"I'm not wanting to make waves, but the way we started, and then continued to play it was pretty tough to get enthused to shout about anything. After the first 20 mins it was pretty easy to see which way the game was going, we didnt look to offer much in the way of attack. Shame we had to play like that in the final. Our final must have been against saints. We played a hell of a lot better there.
Another case of "rabbits in the headlights" im afraid. Shame, some of our lads experienced twickenham, Wire didnt, why are we effected by Big occasions so much? Why could they hold there nerve?"
Every club has it's passionate fans, but some clubs have more than their fair share of 'grumpy gits' who only bother when they're winning.

I had to remind them they were at a cup final. I would suggest that if you are offended by atmosphere you should get back to the club wembley seats were you can enjoy your prawn butties in peace.
I would not have been happy if your pint glass had been dripping on me either. That is not atmosphere (probably that you had too much and could not hold it straight).

thats because theres more atmosphere, less nippers who tread on my toes every five minutes and im sick of singing on my own, shouting for the lads only to be stared at, im trying to gee them up and they look at me like im mud! pathetic, they need to know we are supporting them so im as loud as i an be! looking forward to having no voice more often lol

Seen as you are a Bulls supporter, you have nowt to shout about.
1996 St.Helens v Bradford 75994
1997 St.Helens v Bradford 78022
2003 Bradford v Leeds 71212
2009 Huddersfield v Warrington 76560
And this in a year of deep depression when many could not afford to go due to financial positions.
I personally thought it was a very good turnout considering the state of the country at the moment, so just think about things before putting your mouth in gear.

To be fair mate on the above point,
1996 - 75,994 Capacity 78,022
1997 - 78,022 Capacity 78,022 - sold out two weeks before the game.
2003 - 71,212 Capacity 73,000.
That said nearly 77,000 yesterday wasn't a bad effort.

Hey I have been going to the Cup Final for 30 years and there was not 30K from Warrington.
The neutrals like me (hate us all you like but we go and support the game of RL no matter who is at the Final) always make up about 60% of the gate, there were noticeably less in numbers this year I admit but by my reckoning thats 45K and Huddersfield had about 15% so 12K so there were 19K from Warrington.
Not an expert on crwods I admit but in the old Wembley days thats when teams took 30k when the crwods were 90K plus, not any more sadly.
I have to say for such a big town there should really have been more from Huddersfield or is it just a football town now? Poor turnout.
