been reading this with interest and while there are valid points from both sides,i have to take issue with a few hull fans
whilst it may only be an hour and 20 mins tops from hull, what you have to remember is once past the initial slight hold ups coming out of hull, once on the clive sully way, there is nothing in the way of hold ups, congestion etc meaning even leaving hull at 6pm will cause few problems for an 8pm kick off.
however coming the other way,it can take half an hour to get to the M62 in itself, then once on it,you are then stuck in one of the busiest network of roads in the entire country, notably between J22-30 of the M62,theoretically, you could still be in west yorkshire after an hour and 20 mins, added to that we have now have long term roadworks for much of that stretch of motorway then a friday night trip to hull could be a real pain in the backside! once out of hull only a few scattered villages are to be found on the way to west yorkshire, on the way to hull we have 3 major towns/cities to contend with.
but i will be making that journey and if others choose not to then fair enough im sure many would,if they could, come over but those of us that do will make as much noise in support of our team as we can...will the hull masses? i havent heard a peep out of them for the last 2 years
