KD isn't putting anything into Town anymore so maybe he is willing to pay a fee? I thought we didn't pay fees so it would be interesting if it came off.

problem is if it was a choice between brad for 4/5 more months or brough to see out his deal im sure most wakey fans would prefer we kept Brad.
don't know about him being trouble but he certainly looks a gamble not just as a player but it could unsettle the Huddersfield camp which up to press seems its strongest i have ever seen a hudds team

If Wakey are considering letting him go to someone it suggests that their poor gates are starting to bite.

or maybe we need the cash for a different investment, lets be honest its not like we are short in the halves dept plus like the housing market every player as its peak . If wakey get 100K for him then i would consider it to be a smart sale as its more than likely Danny will go after his 3 years are up.

Maybe it is. But I doubt it. More likely your board are looking to trim their player budget. The 100K is a very funny straw man.

If Wakey want to release a player for Cap reseasons, then us paying a fee for him is utterly barmy

If we just want a new halfback, paying £100k for that one is also barmy

Taking him free isnt bad, Brough can be an out and out match winner.

thats it - i wouldnt say no to having him for a nominal amount but £100,000 ??
surely for that amount we can get 2 half decent half backs form somewhere

I doubt it is for cap reasons - i thought everyone could go up to the maximum now.

They can but Wakey's income is most likely down from their projections due to disappointing home crowds and this may well be playing a part.

It could be they need to offload someone to balance the books.
