I would agree with that. The idea of a PlayOff series in general is a good one, but a PlayOff series which includes a team that has finished not even halfway up the league ladder is ridiculous and reduces the quality of the matches. If we had a league that was a competetive as the NRL then it wouldn't be a problem, but we sadly have a long way to go till we achieve that.

From what I have seen in the southstand the worst turnout this season (for a big team) has been Saints the other week. HKR ran you VERY close .

That's why I said 'in general'. The turnout Leeds was poor I admit it, but in general our away turnouts have been very good. That was one game. It'd be very naiive to judge one team's away support for the season on one game.

One game that was the biggest match of the back end of the season . I was dissapointed at the Saints attendance . Almost as dissapointed as the 595,000 HKR fans that got turned away at the gate

That game we were coming off the back of some utterly poop performances and a lot of us went there expecting a tonking. Some thought that £20 to watch a Saints slump to a 40pt defeat could be better spent elsewhere, and voted with their feet. As I said, to judge a team's away support for the entire season on one game is extremely naiive.

You saying that they didn't attend because they were expecting a lesson ? .. Good job Salford and Celtic fans ain't that fickle . Attendances have suffered everywhere this season . A lot of it is to do with the new teams . Only a tiny bit is to do with the teams that were here last season .

It is extremely naiive, one poor away attendance does not make a season of poor attendances. If you had attended a fair proportion of Saints away games then your opinion might hold a little more credence. Until then, you are merely talking out of your backside.
