I don't think it was the Wire pack which was the problem for Hudds. Apart from them getting a bit of stage fright, what undermined them was that Wire played wide. That split the defence which is normally so effective. Play up the middle and Hudds will win; play out wide and the opposition will win. Unless Brown adapts Hudds' play a bit more to counter the fact that coaches have probably got the measure of Hudds now.

Hudds certainly did deserve to be there and as has been said better to get to the final and lose than not get there at all.
I think the "not good enough to be at wembley comment" was in response to who J.I.M supports though

Yes it is a different kettle of fish, its the final and not the semi!
Yes we have failed twice but at least we have made the final twice in 3 years which proves we have got some bottle somewhere, we are just not used to the "big" occasions but the more "big" occasions we are in the better we will become.
I am sorry but Warrington are certainly NOT used to the "big" occasions, but they managed to play a fantastic final anyways
Sometimes I wonder
"Why is that frisbee getting bigger and bigger?"
.....and then it hits me.......
I thought that overall Wire just about deserved it but Hudds were unlucky with three tries that could have changed the direction of the game. Wire's first try should have been a knock on. Hudds 2 disallowed tries in the first half should have been given.

pretty much sums it up
Wire were deserving winners, but if the decisions had gone the other way, we might not have looked so shell shocked and played like we can.
