I thought the youngsters weren’t allowed to back up games like that. Even if they are, is three fatigued players any better than three inexperienced ones.

Rossy has been playing more centre and fullback than wing recently. In lower grades he was always a fullback, and was a match winner as a fullback. I suspect Woolford wants him as much for his attitude and work ethic as his playing skills. He was a park footballer who got a chance in his mid 20s to train with an NRL side, and he quit a 100k a year job to live on 20k and train his guts out till he made it. He still spends his off season paying for sprint training and works harder than any other player in the NRL. Brad Fittler had him in a city rep side and couldn't believe that he got up at 5am and went for a solo run before the squad did a six hour session.
Looks like Rankin on way out but a former player coming to replace him and not Ross Mamo gone, trying to get Dickinson to bulls and Farrell maybe to Workington while Walne still a mystery
