Thats where we differ, the ref is there to make sure the game is played to the rules, not "let it flow"
When that happens, games can be killed by offsides and laying on, I think Ganson is an apalling ref and more interested in his own screen time than the game he is watching, or, as was shown on more than one occaision last night, not watching.

no, thats hull kr's forte is that
i dont know what was wrong with us last night to be honest, dont take anything away from cas, who's players wanted it more, they built up a fairly fortunate 12-0 lead and then went hell bent on saving that, completely the opposite to the cup game when they kept tryin to attack even in their own '20, last night it was equivalent to a football team "putting 10 men behind the ball" they never gave us a sniff, and the slightest whiff we did have we bombed, yet again!! i dont think i've seen a team bomb as many chances as we do.yesterday however we created very little, our backs seem to have lost pace too, is D hodgson carrying an injury? because he looked very very slow and lethargic.
also i dont understand this whole changing a winning team thing, crabtree has been amazing coming off the bench punching holes in defence's so why start with him? surely as one of our main impact players starting the game negated this?
we need to start getting it sorted on our own patch if we are still going to make the play offs as others are starting to pick wins up now
the Claret And Gold Machine is ready to roll
sunday September 1st 2013, when a dream became a reality!!
going a little o/t now but this loss isnt all bad. quins got a good hiding so although we lost we still move up to 4th with a points difference 20 better off than quins.
we need to start taking our chances and cutting out the errors starting next week at salford. this season is still in our own hands so come on the giants!!!

But, also games can be killed with persistent 'pinging' of penalties.
It's a difficult subject really...

In summary, HKR are made up of of a few overrated foreigners, a couple of Wigan rejects and a couple of blokes I have never heard of.
Saints by plenty, by miles even!

HKR are about as poor as it gets.

Shame it doesn't keep the sound like the full east stand of HKR. That's atmosphere.

The only people responsible for "constant penalties" is players themselves.
I'd rather the refs practice zero tolerance and are consistant than try to interprit what rules they penalise and which ones they dont.
This isnt a gripe, because it was a fair penalty, but take Sculthorpe being penalised for holding the tackler down on Friday night, he hadnt slowed the game down any more than any number of tacklers that had held on, had a second push or anything, yet none of them got penalised, why?
