Obviously not enlightened you Giants RL, however I feel many people (without an axe to grind) will have a better understanding of the man and his role.
I'm not one particularly for properganda jools and i haven't slagged anyone off in particular. I have just commented on the podcast and my take on it. You can only judge a business on how you see it doing, I'm with Steve May on this, whoever has run the club for the past decade has overseen a slide downhill, Maybe it's just mirroring Huddersfield in general.
Fair enough i know nothing about the corporate side but if it's so good why bother with the Rugby at all, on the face of it no one at the club seems over bothered other than Mr Davy throwing money at it periodically. As usual though the miserable failure of the team to show any kind of potential to go forward in any way is as ever down to the moaning fans and endless bad luck.
The fans just keep turning up ( granted in decreasing numbers ) they cant do much else, they aren't running the club , they don't buy the poor expensive players that we have had over the years. So who does run the club who is responsible for getting us into such a shambolic state It's all just bad luck and we should appreciate what a difficult job it is and get behind the boys, Just what some people on here think we have been doing by going down to watch the utter tripe they are turning out is beyond me. Still onward and upwards eh, or maybe more likely backward and downwards, what does it matter as as long as the bowl of Gravy is still there to dip their bread in.
jo jumbuck what a pessimistic moaner you are.All clubs have ups and downs. We were the best team in superleague just a few years ago. We signed many internationals/origin players and still our support wasn`t strong enough to warrant the expenditure needed. Hence our concentration on commercial sponsorship, a sound business decision. The board makes decisions on what they believe to be in the clubs best interest. It doesn`t always work out, but thats sport. However when our club is going through a less successful period on the field thats when we need support more than ever. Everyone is trying on the playing side, their jobs depend on it. So lets get behind the players, the chairman, M.D>, and everyone else. When you are doing your job, do you think it would help to have someone (unqualified) to be telling you how wrong you were doing things and how if you listened to them it would be so much better? Listen to the podcast again and you may have a better understanding.

Fair enough mate, you have your opinion and i mine, and i reckon 30 years of supporting gives me a right to one . regards telling them they are wrong I would have thought the level the club have fallen to would have been a fair indicator of that. I would suggest when it gets to name calling it's a sign of a lost argument.

Best leave it there then mate, Let the club prove what a great job they are doing. It will be a bad time to get relegated ( if it happens ) because as i understand it there are big changes coming in 2021 when S league takes over a lot of the responsibility for the game from the RFL. we need to be at the top table if and when that happens. I'm sure someone has their finger on the pulse.
