Both would bring something to our side- but how we fit them into our quota is a mystery.
Russell Packer would bring a wealth of experience an grit to our pack- but not sure why he’d choose to come to hudds. And having spent time in jail for a serious assault likelihood of a visa could be questioned.

Could be a bit of a problem then but being linked with these kind of players is a good thing shows the club is looking at the right positions that we need as our pack is far too small to be competing with the Rest of the league

Mr Davy may well walk away at some point for one reason or another, but it won,t be because we get relegated. He is first and foremost a business man and just what the hell do you think would happen to the Giants share of the stadium if there is no rugby being played there.

Relegation would probably be the best thing that could happen , It would seem to be the best or only chance for us to get rid of all the dead wood that we have in the club both on and off the field, The alternative is to scrape through again and be exactly in the same position as we have been for the last five seasons, purely making up the numbers in Super league and starting off the season in the same old style with half. the team crocked and half the salary cap sat in the stand for one reason or another.

If ever a club needed a complete fresh start from top to bottom it is the Giants.whether or not we will ever get one I don't know but it wont happen while we keep bumping along the bottom of S league year after dreary year signing big name players who turn out to be duds, and others who can't get fit enough to play half a season.

Bring on relegation i say, It's long overdue and is sure to be better that what we get dished up now

I think we have a good few years coming if we Leo hold of the academy lads

It would be nice to think so, but iv'e dreamed that dream for more years than i care to remember
and here we are still grubbing about with the worst pack in s league and big name backs who either can't get in the side or who are not fit enough for even half a season.

I watched Saints v Wolves on Friday . they were playing the game at a completely different level to what we play.
We need a fresh start with someone who at least has a bit of ambition or has his sights sett a bit higher than just survival.
