Was even more shocked by the amount leaving before the end, not even willing to congratulate the team on a succesful season.
None of that matters as long as the RL have their heads turned by the idea of Hudds have to be in SL because they are the 'Birthplace of RL'.
It very apparent that the people of Hudds are not interested what so ever even when they are practically giving away season tickets.

If a team leave themselves so wide open as Hudds have tonight I have every right to comment about it whether you like it or not.
Now we may get some of this back tommorow that is also well within other fans rights on these boards if you dont like it..........Well thats just tough on you!
If you only knew the POWER of the dark side.

To be fair it's not the fault of the 4200 that turned up, it's the ones who didn't or couldn't be @rsed.
DANNY LOCKWOOD - LEAGUE WEEKLY (18-5-09)
I'M SURE THERE IS NO CORRELATION BETWEEN THE FACT THAT THE FRONT RUNNERS FOR THE 2009 MEDIA WHINGING AWARD ARE FROM GATESHEAD AND HULL FC, FORMERLY THE B*ST*RD-TWINS OF ONE OF RUGBY LEAGUE'S LOUSIER IDEAS.

And TBH im not slagging those folks off.
My point still stands that the city of Hudds apart from the hardy few are obviously not in the slighest bit interested IMHO.
This season they have almost had a season ticket 'give away', a top 3 finish in the league, a CC final apperance and yet after all that only 4200 turn up on the last home game of the season to thank the players.

personally i think anything over 5,000 will be a good crowd when you take into account: its a friday night game its live on sky away support will be almost non existantits all pay, fair enough the club have reduced ticket prices and good on them for that. considering we struggled to get 5,000 for a cup quarter final on a roasting sunday afternoon with a decent away following.
whatever the attendance tonight im damn sure we'll get some grief over it.
Oh but I thought this was always the case. Your lot always seem to claim that there's no away support at your home games and that Huddersfield fans account for most of the seven or eight thousand attending.
So you're saying now that your core support is around 4k.
Anyway, whatever you're saying, it's obviously the case.
