bottom of the single division or bottom of two divisions? wow. that explains an average of 600. Tell you what you can use your superleague average of 3,392 in 2000 after 105 years to look down your nose on our level of interest. How does that work for you?
Im just disappointed that a club which has led the way in generating interest from a very low base, something other fans are always attacking you lot for, should be telling us that we have no pride and no interest.

Listen I started that off so I'll take the flak for the comment. Look I apologise for offending you, I didn't mean to. I still feel you are a nonsense club but there we go.

However, you guys getting a place in Super League after being established for all of five minutes was a total disgrace, and events from within your organisation this season have proved beyond doubt that you were nowhere near being ready for Super League. To all the Welsh Rugby league fans out there, I applaud you and hope you carry on but I will never accept Celtic as a proper team or a team that deserved it's place in the elite competition. At least Catalans are in the Rugby League heartland of France and have contributed much to the comp aswell as the Challenge Cup....and what fan doesn't enjoy a weekend in the south of France? Sorry mate but that's how I feel and no offence was intended to you the fans more to the creation of a nonsense that is Celtic Crusaders.
wow living up to your avatar i see. And how do you think catalans had an heartland to be in in the first place? Did it fall from the heavens or was it created by the hard work of pioneers, in a 'shock horror' rugby union area. You cant applaud welsh efforts in one breath and then tell us we are not a 'proper' club in another, this is our team and all your salivating over temporary problems wont alter that fact. Welsh rugby league people are putting their heart and soul into this club. You dont own the game and its not up to you to tell anyone whether they are a 'proper' team what ever the hell is supposed to be anyway.

Celtic are not a nonsense club as you put it. Any promoted club always struggles to start with, and the team that comes into SL invariably has to ship out at least 75% of the team that got them there, and bring in better players. They are now a member of the RL fraternity and need all our support. So get behind them and stop putting the boot in.

Ok, I have some emotional ties to Widnes first and foremost...a relative of mine played for them when they were the cup kings and therefore I take an interest in how the are doing. Also looking at the criteria for a Super League license there were other teams which IMO tick more boxes, but I'm not the one making the decisions. I'm all for the Welsh having teams, I just feel they were promoted far too soon. I mean they have only been around for two years or so right? Now then if we had of lost our SL place to enable them to take part, how would you have felt about it? A few more years in the national leagues would have done them no harm IMO and that way we get to see how viable they are.

Maybe so, but thats a point to take up with the RFL more so than the fans of Celtic, and to an extent their club, overall surely its still the RFL at blame.

The RFL are a joke, the whole way the thing was handled was a shambles. Come on people have said alot worse things about our club than I did about Celtic and I have offered an apology for upsetting the dude so what more can I say? I have my views about RFL and Celtic, which at the end of the day have no bearing whatsoever on anything so why worry!!!
