Not sure what naming historical players names has to do with a blatent high tackle by Mathers which stopped Robinson a certain try.
Forget historical nonsense, it was a high last man tackle which drew the penalty yet Smith failed to discipline Mathers with.

In Mathers' defence he was stepped so I think it was more instinct that a deliberate head shot. Penalty sufficient in my opinion.
