cas - dont need either
wakey - bring the best out off korki
huddersfield - got rid off korki for a player who is out of favour with club , fans and team mates.
everyone's a winner
As part of the deal BigAl has mentioned Scully is being still paid by Wakie so how you are doing your sums I will never know.
How is Korki out of favour? He was signed as reserve player and has trained the house down to get his chance. He has been consistent for the first team and one hopes he enjoys his loan at wakie.
When Cas offloaded Korki they were that desperate to get out of his contract they were prepared to pay his salary for the first year. We took him on three years on the basis that we would have a year to get him up to our required standard.
I don't know what plans NB has for Scully but I am guessing that if he is going to be first team we may be losing a prop.

That's one thing I've heard and also seen when I've gone past on Leeds Rd. Korkidas has trained hard and his attitude has been excellent. He's just not quite forced his way into our XVII with the other props we have available.
I hope he goes well for Wakefield, he's probably playing for a contract there as his chances of a game with us aren't great. He should go well, he will probably be the fittest prop they have ATM until Bumper's magic wears off.
As for Scully, well, he's got something to prove and there are certainly questions over attitude and temperament. However he does have some ball skills with his offload and short kicking and if Brown can sort him out and Bumper gets some spare off him he could have something to offer. The jury is out.
If London is Athens, Yorkshire is Sparta, a tougher community and proud of it.
