Even if that was the case, there was still plenty of room amongst the Hudds fans.

Ah well. Suppose that's why I'm not a stadium manager! ;)

There was even mention of opening the FM upper tier if numbers required it!!

Why is our support the main conversation on here?? There was a time when we would have 8K for this game and 6K had come from Leeds! Now we have 9k of our own and people still criticise!

Not really criticising mate. There's been an increase in your number over the last few years and it's good to see. It was just hyped up to be a sell out and was no where near in the end. Suprising that's all.

Don`t know how they reckoned it could be a sell out 25,000. Even the 2 key derby games over Easter had really good crowds at 22,000. So there was no way this was going to be a sell out on a Sat night on Sky.
If it had been Sunday afternoon I think we would have had easily 15,000. But the paymasters call the tune as regards days and times.

I personally never suggested a sell out! I knew from Wednesday that some parts of our stadium were closed and they were never required! Many suggested from the Leeds end that their allocated stand was sold out but in reality the Leeds ticket office only ever had 1200 tickets which were duely sold out!! I think thats where the sell out rumours started!

Tonight proved our own realisation and that is that our own crowd is increasing!!

The away stand was only half full at best 2000 and I am being generous at that, but I am not complaining about their support, just pointing out that on previous visits they have brought about 4-5000.

I know of some Leeds fans who didnt go due to the pricing strategy at Huddersfield this year. Season tickets for £85 and yet no alteration tot he away fans prices. It should be the same for all, or at least not twice as much!

If you want to come to every Giants home game then you were more than welcome to buy a season ticket.

The 'on the day' and pre-bought tickets for home and away fans are the same price.
