But then this is why we call it The Greatest Game
You'd be amazed at how many of us wanted this match up in the final
Union is played by people who close airports after a bit of snow, League is played by people who would go and have a snowball fight with a 747

Just like to add my congrats for a fantastic performance on Sunday.
Rugby League is folklore. What captures our imagination is not simply the winning or the losing, it's the stories. The stories of perseverance, of sheer will, of hard work, of heartbreak, of miracles, and of triumph and tragedy.

Just what I said to a Wire fan stood with us after the game. I think most of Huddersfield wanted you to win on the Saturday. At the moment I'm so thrilled I know I won't be gutted if we lose the final. Just glad we have ended the run of Saints. (nothing against the Saints but a new name on the cup will be great for RL). Hudds or Wire is a win/win for me.

Very true. I'll be praying and shouting for a Wire win, but provided we play well I wouldn't be too upset to lose to Hudds as at least its a new name on the cup, and not just the tired old usual suspects.
Just a quick note to say well done and I hope you go all the way.
You played with a massive amount of stamina and passion. When you were on the ropes you still managed to come away with a try and deserved to win.
I would also like to say to the 'older' woman outside the ground a little while after the game. WTF?!!!!
I was walking down the road with the mrs when a woman said out loud as we passed, 'how the mighty have fallen' I obviously didn't bother responding but it struck me later how very disrespectful that comment was.
Not to Saints but to Huddersfield.
There is no real fall from grace to lose to a team in 3rd place that are only 4 points behind us. To imply in any way that we had fallen for us to have lost is awful. The giants won because you were better than us, not because we were off the boil.
Get a grip woman, but well done anyway.
