To be fair to Mick he does agree that Semi is a joke for being a jessie and resorting to cat fighting.

wishy wrote:Are you just making it up as you go along??? The turnstile operaters DO ALL accept junior away vouchers and yours was number 12 last night and thats the one they'd have been told to take?? Also they would never allow you to lift them over without the appropriate ticket!! Also the stewards outside had there been a problem could've resolved it by guiding you to the gate steward who could've issued you with new free tickets without the need to goto the ticket office as is the practise for away fans!

As for the South stand 800 give or take and it did actually look a lot less as it was not anywhere near half full and not too many in other parts of the stadium! And for the mathematicians out there due to netting the south stand when the full lot of netting is in place as it was last night the stands capacity is 2500!

Not at all. My wife and I went throught the cash turnstile and waited for the kids inside. They got to the front and were told they were not allowed in with their books/voucher. The lady said to go out of the queue and get a ticket. We were already inside so could not do much. She said to go to a steward to get out. I went to the gate to get a steward. By the time he had processed the infomation, my wife had got the kids over the turnstile. The operator didn't say much, just to tell a steward inside. They had bloody season ticket books in their hands, it was obviously not some kind of blag. I do like the way she wanted my two young daughters to go round and sort it out themselves while we were trapped inside. Very family friendly!
Why would I make it up?

From the sound of it I think the turnstile operator was right! We have a ticket only turnstiles and Cash only turnstiles and only on the permission of the Turnstile operator's supervisor can the cash turnstile take tickets and vice versa it's the way the stadiums been run since the off! Vouchers are classed as tickets so therefore should only be allowed in through the appropriate turnstile! I know how distressing it can be to be seperated even for a few seconds from your kids but surely the stewards outside could've been of assistance or even another fan who would stay with your children till they went through the appropriate turnstile as it would only be a matter of the ajacent turnstile not as if we would be sending children to another turnstile block! As for go out and get a ticket comment you already had the ticket so surely the operator was just saying go through the ticket turnstile not actually get a ticket as I say all the operators are told vouchers are accepted on the turnstiles albeit the ticket ones!!

We went through the cash only turnstiles, the kids had to go through the ticket only one adjacent to it. It was the correct turnstile. I don't know what happened. I'm sure it was a genuine mistake. Maybe at some games you do have to change vouchers for a ticket at the ticket office and this lady had got confused? I don't know. No harm done anyway. Just make sure that you add two more to the total of away fans!
