Any thoughts on who Watson has in mind to bring in, I've seen Josh Jones mentioned but i'm not sure we need another second row (albeit he would definitely add to what we have), I think we need a couple of big props (no more Bruno/McQueen/Hewitt in the front row) and another specialist hooker.

From what I have read,Seb will remain with Salford for 2021. Leroy new one year deal to end of 2021.

Not sure about Roberts.



Ta'ai is worth another season - as a prop or loose now,not second row.



Matagi moving out,didn't see that one coming,our most improved player last year and our best go forward man.



The club got the overseas recruitment right with McQueen, carries it up strong and grafts hard on defence.



Thinking Cunningham will share the 9 role with O'Brien who thankfully will make a full recovery from the serious injury.



Hewitt is a fair prospect,hoping the new coaching staff could work to improve his all round game.



Ian Watson's success with Salford fairly obviously was getting the best out of props (and other positions) who were considered to be on the way down the pecking order,the likes of Mossop/Dudson so we may be surprised at some of his recruitment,and some might think 'why sign him he's past it'

Have to trust him.

Turner signed for us(Cas) 1 year contract

Since Cudjoe returned and looked like he had never been away,the coaches struggled to know what to do with Turner.



I was wanting them to give him more time in the halfs because when he stood in for Gaskell,due to JT's extra pace him and Sezer looked the most threatening half back pairing we had all season. Admittedly Gaskell has the better kicking game.



Other times JT just covering from the bench,then they stuck him in at loose where he didn't look comfortable. So not that surprised he has moved on.



Gaskell has a new 1 year deal,let's hope he can steer clear of injuries - in Watson we trust.

James Cunningham? I'd not heard that one mentioned...

Taai has left. He’s told people he’s not been offered a new deal.



We have signed Josh Jones and Jack Ashworth, both should be announced soon. Although Ashworth is due in court in Feb so the announcement may get delayed.

Ukuma Ta'ai one of the clubs best ever overseas recruits,can't think of a better overseas forward we have had in terms of length of service and consistency.



Ian Watson's new broom is sweeping clean,but am not going to fault him for that though whatsoever.

Apparently Hudds shopping Gavet around to other SL clubs.

From what you have seen of him this season do you think he would be a good signing for Wakefield ?

Read about this last night in the on line Huddersfield Examiner, which was a shock as thought they had given up completely covering rugby league.



One overseas forward I would not want to see shipped out is Kenny Edwards.His form dipped after the restart compared to before it, but there was too much pressure on him.

Always liked Kenny. Adds a bit of bite in the 2nd row.

Inu available from Salford. Would we want him - where would he play?

Watson after Lolahea but is under contract. (swap with Gaskill?)

A bit disappointed regards Ta'ai. Been a good signing but as yet nothing official from the club.

Gavet - cant make my mind up - stay or go.

Not sure mate, I haven't seen much of him at all to be honest, how has he gone for you? Guessing he hasn't fulfilled the expectations? From what I understand though Wakefield are not one of the clubs where he might be heading.

Given what I saw of our front row this season then he’d be a good signing on one leg!



Our week spot the front row. Probably not worked out for him at yours, it happens so a move to us might be what he needs.



He’s also a previous coaches signing so probably not on his keep list for quota players.



Could work out well for us both.

If you listen to the interview with Cogger you will see that he has very much signed on the basis of getting week in week out rugby, not a backup for Sezer/Gaskell, and he also talks about playing alongside Sezer a lot. Looks like we will be getting rid of Gaskell, or Gaskell will be the back up. For me, for all Gaskell has been good at times, he has been far too flakey, often disappearing for dubious reasons before matches, and i won't be sad to see him go.
