My next comment is directed at all the regular posters on the Huddersfield forum.

Come on you guys you must be able to find at least one thing you like about the Giants. Why not try it. I'll even make it easier for you by widening the options. I know a lot of you have been following the Claret and Gold for many years so why not try a posting which starts 'What I like about Fartown is....'

I'll start off with 'What I like about Fartown is our history and tradition and the role we played in the development of Rugby League (and I don't just mean the George Hotel meeting).

Come on guys and girls swallow your pride and say something positive about our wonderful club, you never know you might enjoy it.

Some very promising young players that hopefully develop and you can keep hold of them. Having a core of home grown players is the way to go.

The thing I like about the giants is I’ve met some of my oldest friends going to rugby- we’ve been to weddings and watched our families grow up.

The thing I like about Fartown are the world class players my father told me about when he used to watch them but I was just too young to remember ie Hunter, Cooper, Devery, etc, etc. What a site it must have been at the old Fartown ground full to the rafters cheering on the Claret and Gold.

Think i might have just seen one or two of those players, I wasn't a Hudds fan in those days but my Granddad used to take me all over to games I certainly remember the big terrace at Fartown, I remember going to a Cup tie there " a night match " i think it was a semi replay, Dont remember the two sides but i think one of them may have been Oldham. Maybe one of the older posters may remember it, seem to remember the crowd was about 30,000.

What i like about Fartown is they are still there despite the last few decades.

The secrecy at the club about what is happening, injuries, events, when players will return etc is second to none
