that should be matagi runs hard once in every 8 matches, the rest he goes missing.

So no, Simon didn`t ruin him and the fact Seb has done very little when picked tends to support the coaches judgement.
it was clear in pre season too that woolford wanted him out offering him to other clubs, no one could afford him so hes stuck here, cant blame him not wanting to play for the coach, works both ways

He shouldn’t need motivating to play for the coach- he should do it for himself and his teammates.

Don't get me wrong, I like how Woolford comes across, but I thought at the time that Thorman deserved the bulk of the credit for the turnaround last year. Is the honeymoon period with Woolford over? Do we bite the bullet and go for Shaun Wane while he's still available? We have some outstanding youngsters on the way through, could he be the man to bring them through?
In my opinion, it's hard for Woolford, he doesn't have his own coaching staff, and he's had limited time to bring in his own players. The problem is, the players he has brought in have been pretty garbage, which doesn't help his cause. We're in a tight division, and most of the teams are inconsistent, it's just the manner in which we give up so often which is disappointing.
We are lacking a leader of men, someone who will accept nothing less than 100%, if we aren't going to buy that on the field, then we need it in the dressing room.
I think this weekends game vs Wakey could decide which way we go.

I think we need to stick with a coach for a period of time, Woolford inherited a very bad situation in regards to personnel and contracts, if it weren't for our youth setup we would be totally stuffed at the moment. I'm willing ot give him time to assemble a better squad. remember he wanted Hastings badly and that would have proved to be an excellent signing. We do need to get much smarter with regards to our recruitment, i would classify this as our main area to improve , we get nowhere near the value for money from signings that say Wakefield do.

If we look at the likes of Salford and Wakefield they have performed better than we have- but up until recently have not had the player issues we have- how many consecutive games have we named 13 players the same- compare that with Salford, Wakefield are struggling now.....because injuries are biting. It’s easy to swap in the odd player- we e had disruption right from day one- including disruption to off season preparation.

Until Thewlis goes nothing will change and now really loyal fans are so fed up they are starting to vote with their feet. Sadly I don’t see this happening
