Yes he did. Thought his kicking was very good and showed sone smartness. Wasn’t aware he’d gone to batley but with OB and leeming doing well his chances are limited.
Sam wood was pretty solid as well, didn’t get much ball in attack, took a high kick well but just couldn’t put it over the line, his defence was very good though.

Agreed re Wood, really hope we see him back in a Giants shirt, he could be a ready made replacement for Mellor

Butterworth looked like he plays more like a half than a hooker-he looks like a distributor like AOB rather than a runner like leeming, what he had in his favour is a kicking game too which AOB doesn’t have.

What about Mickey Wood is he still in the mix
