S'funny that cos I would interpret the phrase "can't be bothered" as not willing to put the effort in. I can't really see that it can be interpreted any differently. It implies a lack of interest, not caring etc. No 'chinese whispers' or anything else. So again I re-iterate. I cannot see how you can accuse the players and staff of not being bothered particularly by the reactions of Nathan Brown during the match and the players after the match. If they "couldn't be bothered" to perform I would also suggest they would have lost the match by a lot more and not just to two excellent tries, one a superb peice of individual skill and the other as good a team move as you'll see in the play-offs.
Lacking that bit of quality to win tight games, definately, "Couldn't be bothered", no.
