Reading some forums and listening to fans you would think we average 3000...
does not look as good as it for wakey this but then again on the brighter side we still have Leeds , cas , Kr and fc to come who are normally our 4 biggies.
not relying on away support mind hopefully the sun will bring more out

Without peeing Lee off Hull KR bring at least 20K so that will help your average boost your attendance. plus with that extra income you can put shirts back up to full price and and still keep Brough.
(Sorry Lee I just could not resists!)

I was wondering whether the reduced price season tickets had had an effect, which is why I was drawn to this thread. Surely lower season ticket prices is the way forward. It beats the downturn, guarentees money at the start of the year and hooks punters in with the possible bonus of Shirt sales afterwards.
Seriously, if you've got a big improbvement on ticket sales due to your good pricing, how is that a bad thing? It can only be a problem if at the end of the season you make less money off the gates, though even then you may well reecoup that if you look at it long term.

To my knowledge the season tickets sales roughly doubled on the back of this offer to around 5000

i think the proof of the pudding will come next year, will these new ST holders renew at increased rates? have they been convinced that giants are worth supporting full time?
of course a grand final or cup final appearance would help
the Claret And Gold Machine is ready to roll

i would have thought the way that lot go on they would be averaging at least 5k more than us
Well if you are getting 8842 (which i think is great for you and long may it grow) it is impossible for us to get 5k more as we can onlyt get just over 10000 in the ground.
Im very happy with Kr gettin 8000 at the moment as i can remember not that long ago on sunday nights walking up 10mins before kick off and been able to count the fans in the east stand
