Not sure. Hope not, sounds like he had a good game by all accounts against Les Cats.

What about the team for Sunday.

I would have the same 17 that we had against catalans with Korky stepping in for Eorl.

This means leaving Faiumu out.

My view is that Lunt did well and should be rewarded for playing well by being given another go. It also sends a message to all the team that they will have to play for their places and that if they slack then they could be dropped and will have to fight to get back in the team.

Although Faiumu was away for personal reasons i still think it sends out a message particularly to the younger / academy players/ second team that there is no such thing as a first team only that there are those who are currently in the first 17 and those who will be in the first 17 when the incumbents let their performance or injuries mean they lose their place.

By keeping the players hungry and making them fight for their places it should ensure maximum effort all through the season.

It also send a message to the younger players that they will get a chance to play at the top level which will help our recruitment in the longer term as the giants will be seen as a place where they will get a game if they are good enough rather than because they have a name ,are a coaches favourite or being an overpaid aussie ( Brian Noble take note)

you may well be right about the choice that is made but if Lolesi replaces eorl with raleigh stepping up tio the front row then it surely casts significant doubt on the wisdom of signing Korki.

You would have thought that replacing a prop with a prop would have been the ideal solution. If Korki is not ready to step up now then i would question the wisdom of giving him a 3 year contract.

Or is the decision to play Lolesi a tactical one :?:

Saints may well be missing Graham and Cayless which means they will play with a lighter pack, we need to counter their speed around the ruck. So Jammer would be the quicker option and would cycle better with Kirkmond / Finnegan and potentially Wild.

Korkidas is an option but he is more impact than pace. I'd save him for Bradford.

What's the news on Graham and Cayless, Wadski?

If London is Athens, Yorkshire is Sparta, a tougher community and proud of it.
