right so thats another super league season over and done with, and what a season!
last night though we just looked knackered, we lacked idea's in attack and caught out by walters' pre match chatter i felt.fair play to catalans though, they like us have their own style and its succesful, even though some of the stuff ( from both sides) was a bit on the edge, but if the officials allow it then teams will do it.
as i said, we look shattered it was one game too many for us, dont forget that apart from the saints reserve team before wembley, this club are the only club that has been involved in every game this season!, however its not an excuse, we have had a truly memorable season and it was sad to see it end like it did with only 4,200 there and even less at the end
shame on those people who couldnt even be ar$ed to stay and show their appreciation for the effort the players and coaches have put in this year, no doubt these people will be the first to complain if the players didn't come over and clap them!
so its all over, we now sit back and watch the play offs unfold and good luck to catalans they were bigger stronger and better than us on the night and their 3rd try was a cracker! a pleasure to watch
the Claret And Gold Machine is ready to roll
sunday September 1st 2013, when a dream became a reality!!
I don't think there are speccies of any other club that would have applauded the opposition try like we did last night, especially since that try effectively ended our challenge.
Very sporting but I was almost annoyed by it because there were people applauding who barely applaud their own team, never mind the chuffing opposition.
If London is Athens, Yorkshire is Sparta, a tougher community and proud of it.
Think you are right to look at the positives - you've had a great season really although I can understand you all being disappointed that you didn't just go that one step further. I really thought you would take Wire to the cleaners in the challenge cup. You are right though Meast your players looked all in last night and a bit lost but don't be disappointed cos you have had a superb season and I am sure you will just get better. Well done anyway for the things you have achieved this year.

well said meast agree with every word, bring on 2010
have to admit was embarrased by some of our fans at end of game, some booed and walked out, after a great season the best i have seen in watching the giants for 40 years i thought they could have stayed to show their appreciation, and after watching the rovers fans tonite giving their team the send off they deserved brought it more home to me

Yes it has been a really good season for us.
One of the few teams to post an average increase in crowd figures.
Highest finishing position in league for years.
Reaching the CC.Final (and a great weekend away)
Figuring in the play-offs.
And I think we would have gone further if injuries had not dealt us a cruel blow towards the end of the season. NB could not pick the same team consistently. Kevin Brown and Robbo were doing very well together and Robbo missed KB when he got injured. Not making excuses though just giving reasons.
Roll on 2010

If the team and coaching staff can't be bothered performing in the play offs why should fans pay their money or even applaud. As far as I'm concerned the players and staff were applauded for their seasons efforts after the Wigan game.
Agree 100%. If anything they could probably be accused of putting in too much effort and not enough thought.
Somewhere in the dust of time rest the bones of the Galilean He who was spat upon. He whose face was marred beyond all human likeness Somewhere buried among the lies of the past rests the tomb of Yeshua Of he who was made God in a world without Hope. And when this son of Joseph is found. What then will the Church of Rome say? Prepare yourself for the day is coming. And men will say "Blessed are the wasted lives who perished in the flames of the holy war"

I said they couldn't be bothered to perform, no where did I mention effort. I see now how chinese whispers works. I say one thing the following poster changes one word and then suddenly I'm being accused of saying something I didn't.
