Ipape nearly went the length of the pitch against us despite starting level with our players, it took Bibby 3/4 of the pitch to catch him and noone else was near. All teams know to burn us down the wings, it started round 1 with Warrington and didn't take other teams long to latch on. It hurts us in defence where noone catches someone making a break, and in attack where noone is quick enough to support and finish breaks that end in tries for other teams. Again, you could see this last year, and that is what is so frustrating, Watson has had a year to look at the team, and yet his recruitment didn't improve any of our weak areas and like for like replacements were far far worse.
I would be fuming if i was Ken, i'm sure Watson sold him the same story he told everyone else 'we will be challenging for the top year on year, and competing regularly with the top teams'. What a waste of his money.
