I think I'm the odd one out but just do not rate the guy, he has never done anything to change my opinion. Seemed to slow everything down when we were trying to move the ball out wide against catalans at home, he kept looking for inside pass. Wicked side step but apart from that we have much better options in Drew (much more technically clever) and Lunt (better all round pacy opportunist hooker) IMO
If i was to marry, i dont know if i ought to, if i would, if i should , i'd marry a Prop's daughter, she'd go down, i'd go down, we'd all go down together, we'd be alright in the middle of the night going down together!!

he may not have had his best season last year but spent most of his time at L/F rather than as hooker as he was behind Lunt and Moore who both had oustanding seasons ( at different times). BUT defensively he is very solid and distributes consistently well key essentials for any hooker.. Offensively he also did well he does not just have a, ' sidestep', but creates gaps and makes space for other players.
This season he has alot to prove but with the pressure of the trial off his back we will see a new player.

faiumu is a class act, i thought he had some massive games for us last season coming off the bench and creating opportunities... needs to be played at hooker though because when played at loose forward doesnt show up as well.
hope he can steer clear of the groin injuries this season
I disagree i think he makes a good loose forward and played some good games there (he was one of only a handful of players that played well in the cup final). But equally he can do a good job at hooker.
He is a very differnt player to Lunt and may lack his attacking skills and explosive finsishing ability but i believe his distribution and decision making are better than what Lunt offers at the moment (although he will only improve with experience)

He was head and shoulders above moore, even when moore was getting the plaudits.
His passing is faster, his distribution is better, his defence is better and his running is better.
He might not have lit the ground up each and every week, but he never had a bad week either imo.
Next season is looking good imo.
We have offloaded the white elephant that was Moore, if Lunt carries on he will be a megastar and the Little Master is back, add on that Fooey who is a balance between Lunt and Drew and we are onto a winner.
I like Fooey. He is as useful as a second rower as he is at hooker and his step is great. Even though they know it's coming defenders still get done over by it because it's such a cracking step.
If London is Athens, Yorkshire is Sparta, a tougher community and proud of it.
Good comments everyone and great debate, we will see as the season progresses but behind Lunt and Drew in my starting 17

I like him aswell. Good hands and strong in attack and defence. I think he'll be even better this year after a solid pre-season. That sidestep is so quick that I don't think his own groins know it's coming.
The great thing about next seasons squad is there are many different combinations for the key playmaking positions which means the options may change dpending on form or the opposition and the added compettion for places can only be good.
