And Hudds 3rd try which never in a million years had a hand with downward pressure (albeit a consolation try). Swings & Roundabouts. Once again Bentham is from Leigh not Warrington

Monaghan had an almost identical 'try' (hand on the side of the ball and the ball 'pings' out as soon as it hit the ground) disallowed by the Video Ref at Knowsley Road last season.

Sporting Life also feel we had a few dodgy decisions but as I have said in my previous posts the best team on the day won and we did not turn up, just feel the RFL have left themselves wide open yet again!!!!!

All the best for the rest of the season and Congratulations on a very good win.
If i was to marry, i dont know if i ought to, if i would, if i should , i'd marry a Prop's daughter, she'd go down, i'd go down, we'd all go down together, we'd be alright in the middle of the night going down together!!

Yea that's it hat's off to the better team. I'm not bitter about the decisions, because we all know these things swing in roundabouts and who know's what decision may go our way in the playoffs. Also we didn't lose that game because of the the Ref or VR, we lost because we were below par and Wolves were superb.

Sadly, someone always has to lose in a final. I'm just glad it was our teams who were there.
Most of the complaints about the Hudds fans seem to be coming from your own corner. If you consider the position your club was in just a decade a go, your second cup final in 3 years with over 10,000 attending each is certainly a fairly big feat.
As for the 2 decisions from Benthead.....I personally believe they were right. Momentum had stopped on the first and I've seen less clear obstructions given than the second one, although as has been said elsewhere, the rules on that need clearing up a bit.
King's no try was a correct one and the only major error I think made on the day was when Hicks knocked on as he felll to the floor while catching. I'd probably have different views had we not won and those decisions had gone against us though.
I think the event was an excellent advert for the sport and showed that you can have a high quality game without the need for the so called big clubs.
With Nathan Brown, you have a coach who can take you places and I personally believe that it's going to be the Brown, Smith and Morgan teams that are going to continue to break the big four monopoly in the next few years.
Union is played by people who close airports after a bit of snow, League is played by people who would go and have a snowball fight with a 747
