It was Briers that raked his foot over hodgsons face after a tackle midway through second half. no damage done but typical of teams that think they are better than the opposition then get frustrated and resort to wind up tactics when they realise there not.

We give stick to refs who bottle it by putting things on report but Smith didn't even do that for the Mathers high shot on Robbo.
He gave a penalty so obviously saw it and the RFL have felt it was bad enough to warrent a ban so will Smith have to answer to anyone for his incompetance, doubt it!!.
Also a high shot on Brett Hodgson as he got a kick away, touchjudge stood just in front of me was looking straight at it but bottled it and chose to ignore it.
Just wonder what would have happened if it had been Mason dishing out the dirty stuff, although he has cut the silly stuff out of his game just solid and hard tuff forward now.
