Im very happy with Kr gettin 8000 at the moment as i can remember not that long ago on sunday nights walking up 10mins before kick off and been able to count the fans in the east stand

not quite sure what you are getting at but just to clarify i was in the east stand always but as you had to walk all the way around the ground from the west stand to the east you could have time to count

of course a grand final or cup final appearance would help

Hopefully they will. I know of at least one bloke who was tempted in by the reduced price for him and his son as there's often not a lot for them to do on a Sunday afternoon. This despite neither of them having attended RL at all before and having next to no knowledge of the game.

They haven't gone to every game but the ones they have attended they've enjoyed the non stop action nature of the sport and are seriously thinking of renewing next year. His son's six and if he then gets hooked, starts buying merchandise and perhaps taking his friends along you're up and running with the next generation.
If that's repeated a couple of thousand times over then Davey's pulled a master stroke.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Hmm, it's funny how some people take jokes with other RAB posters out of context eh?
